Just like western concepts such as 'religion', 'secularism' etc., the concept of 'left wing or right wing' is a weird imposition of western way of description to describe indian society, just like trying to measure 'dhoti' in units of size of pants (28, 30, 32 etc,).
This term is more and more used in Indian media to designate BJP and at large Hindus. Slavish mentality creates only obscurantism.
