Every individual has his or her own background, and at any given time, they are doing their very best. We always worry and question, “Why did he do that? Why did he not do this?” But given the background, that person can behave only in the manner he does at this time and place. There is no other answer. When we understand very intimately that all the significant people who bother us are behaving exactly as they can (there is no other way the person can behave), then there is no problem. And the fact is that anyone who bothers us is significant. Insignificant people do not bother us as much."

MY QUESTION :
when we face an insignificant person as our boss, there is no escaping him. Then how to face that situation ?
ANSWER BY SWAMY's DISCIPLE Prashant Parikh :
Ganesh ji, what PSDS ji has said above is not a direct cure to the ill-behavior of another person, but equips us better to handle and understand the motivations that drive them. This makes the problem itself lose its hold over us. Usually in life we find ourselves paralyzed by the situation, unable to either act appropriately, or act at all. Recognizing some of the factors that go into the problem is an objective understanding of the problem. This is half the battle. Then we can happily go on and turn our daily struggles into meaningful, well-directed actions. At least we're no longer fighting with our mind
