India's compliance to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

I am a staunch supporter of MODI . But, in spite of the hype of his Madison Square Garden show overshadowing everything else, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s US visit even though was a big success on many levels, atleast it did not fare well on one crucial subject concerning health issues of INDIANS which may be affected by high costs of medicines due to IPR payments to American MNCs.
India is going to face a big CRISIS in the pharmaceutical sector with Indians giving "carte blanche" to Americans to  question India's compliance to  Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).The joint statement by the US and India after Modi met with Obama.is putting the pressure on India to talk to USA on IPR related issues and letting the Americans decide . While India has always been abiding by international intellectual property regime, in regards to all  multilateral agreements such as those at WTO, and TRIPS flexibilities, why should it have to go and  discuss it with the US?
The most dangerous aspect of the proposed committee that India has agreed to is the let the USA decide by empowering it  for decision-making.
Why should the US be allowed a role on India’s decision making responsibilities in IP?
Regarding agriculture, India’s existing regime is important to deny patent to seeds that otherwise would SELL farmers to the MNC companies as slaves, causing increase in farmers' suicide.
WHEN activists in India have been demanding more STRONG action on intellectual property rights, particularly in pharma sector so that more people can access lifesaving medication, why MODI in whose leadership we all have confidence and who , we all believe will  protect Indian farmers had decided to let Americans decide on this crucial IPR issue ? I still have faith in MODI and wait for his clarification and explanation so that I could  explain to all those who may criticise him on this very STRATEGIC subject. WE ARE ALWAYS WITH MODI and there should be surely an explanation or this information on media may be truncated in some way, in either case, it is better for BJP to clarify this point.
