This kiss of love

This kiss of love business being promoted by these left-leaning imbeciles is rather juvenile.
While kissing in public or in front of one's family members is considered decent in the West (which is fine, if that is the contexual dhArmika trajectory they have taken), not all cultures share the same ethos. For many, there is an appreciation regarding family traditions (kula maryAdA) that is native to Indians. Certainly my wife and I would not choose to share such an intimate m...oment under the gaze of strangers, family, or friends.
Of course one must condemn any physical assault resulting from this exhibition, nonetheless, the over-zealous nit-wits need to be more appreciative of social norms of decency and not try to stretch it thin with the expressed intent of instigating others.
The sad part here is when people talk about a globalized world, it is INEVITABLY the Western norms that are accepted as global standards (including in India), but these colonized Indians themselves will not question why, for a change, their own norms don't govern global customs.
